Takeharu 2.1

A lot of shakuhachi come out of Takeharu's workshop nowadays, but this shakuhachi dates from before the days of mass production. It is a seisunkan, so it's sharp of B by about a quarter tone. This makes it really only suitable for honkyoku or for playing with tunable instruments. It has a relatively dark, though smooth tone, has very good balance between the notes, and is very easy to play for a longer shakuhachi. This is a consignment flute.
